N100 - Passive infrared detector

Revel Technology also manufactures the N100 passive infrared detector. Originally designed by John Rossin, the N100 is a highly stable motion detector with exceptional low temperature performance. It uses a narrow two zone detection pattern with a range of up to 100 feet. It can be used in both N/O and N/C alarm circuitry with momentary current drains up to 300 ma. The detector is self powered with an on board lithium battery that can last as long as 10 to 20 yrs. The circuit is dual polarity so polarity does not matter. Removable jumpers on the circuit board provide sensitivity and pulse count adjustment.

The N100 can be flush mounted, surface mounted, or installed into an electrical outlet box. The case supplied for surface mounting includes facets that allow for numerous angle choices to achieve the desired direction for the detection zones. The N100 is also a natural for connection to wireless transmitters since it puts zero load on the transmitter battery.

The N100 is the same detector used in the Intercepter. Additional N100's can be interfaced with the Intercepter for remote sensing.
